Getting started is easy:
- Sign in with your email or social account
- Go to the Map page to browse available scenarios
- Select a scenario that matches your goals
- Click "Start" and begin speaking!
We offer scenarios across multiple categories:
- Business & Career: Salary negotiations, client presentations, team meetings
- Travel: Hotel check-ins, medical emergencies, asking for directions
- Social: First dates, networking events, making friends
- Academic: University admissions, oral exams, study groups
- Emergency: Police encounters, medical situations, legal issues
You need:
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- A microphone (built-in or external)
- A stable internet connection
- Microphone permissions enabled in your browser
BoldSpeak works on desktop and mobile devices. For the best experience, we recommend using headphones to prevent echo.
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check that your browser has microphone permissions enabled
- Make sure no other app is using your microphone
- Refresh the page and try again
- Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
- Check your system sound settings

- Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
